The Pallet Project

Do you remember the little sneak peek of our home? On the first photo you can see a little stool The Man built out of wooden pallets he had found on the street.

There are actually about 6 pieces of furniture he built from pallets – a couple of stools, a bedside table, a book shelf and a few others.

I love them so much and am so proud of him as he was making them with the very minimal set of tools and designed them all by himself. We get constant praises from anyone who see those recycled creations.

I was therefore so excited to find about the The Pallet Project by Studiomama which is a great initiative of reusing and up-cycling.

The Pallet Project is the brainchild of Nina Tolstrup who has designed a collection of furniture reclaimed from disused pallets.

The series includes designs for chairs, stools, and lamps which you can make yourself using instructions from Studiomama webshop. The designs are sophisticated but easy to make and the result, thanks to the pallet’s unique patterns and colors, is always interesting and one-of-a-kind.

I’m especially fond of the floor lamp with its rustic, but modern, clean look.

Say hello to your new project my darling man! 🙂
